Clinical experience suggests that haptotherapy (HT) can be beneficial for chronic pain patients, and we want to substantiate this scientifically with this research project. (…) The main limitation of this study is the small number of patients due to the Covid-19 pandemic. (…) One has to be careful with conclusions because of the study’s limitations, including the selection bias, the small number of participants, and the lack of a control group. Nevertheless, the findings suggest that haptotherapy might be a promising therapy for people with chronic pain.
